Via Twitter: Quote: A bittersweet day! My last at @670TheScore. I will miss all the great, hardworking people and friends I have made here over the last 6 yrs. I am very excited for my new job - reporting and co-hosting for a new show, "Through the Decades" on a new digital subchannel on CBS. The show launches May 25th... Anchored by the great Bill Kurtis. Here's an old press release -- http://www.robertfeder.com/2015/01/15/b ... e-decades/ Since I pretty exclusively listened to The Score via podcast I don't think I've ever heard her do one of her famously bad updates #blessed |

I liked the thread that was dedicated to how awful she was as at her job. |

Is the talent pool so thin in this city that she could submit her updates at WSCR as an audition tape or someone could hear her doing updates and think "She'd be perfect!" Unless she used anything but tape from WSCR and the person doing the hiring never listens to WSCR between 9:00 and 1:00. |

Good fucking riddance. It is amazing that she can find work in the boadcasting business. Wow. So that leaves no Women on air on The Score? |

That pic doesn't do her justice, JP, but I also thought she was attractive. Saw her and a dude at the Art Institute a few years ago. She's an attractive woman. An attractive woman with a reading disability, but attractive nonetheless. |

Always thought she was a Mac hire/request; not all the time, part time so no benefits, gave a female to the mix |

Kerry is beautiful. And sweet in person. My wife and I spent a good half hour or so chatting with her when we met her. I don't mind her updates being... well... not the best. It really gets Tad worked up though! LOL. |

Where is she going? A digital start-up network? What the hell is that? If Oprah can't get people to watch her network, how is a start up like this gonna work. What is she gonna do? Reading Feder's piece, it's not a sports network. |

Set to debut this May, the Decades network will air on a digital subchannel of WBBM-Channel 2 and 15 other CBS-owned stations nationwide, featuring programming culled from CBS archives and organized around theme and dates. C'mon. Who is even going to find these channels, let alone watch them? |

She stumbled a little here and there, but who cares? She has a pleasant voice and eventually you'd get the scores or whatever you might be looking for in an update. Not sure exactly what would be different if she read every update perfectly... |

I would rather hear her fumble a few words, than hear Drinky editorialize every update, causing them to exceed five minutes in length. |

I would prefer her over Schuster as well. Hell, I'd prefer being stabbed in the face than hearing evey ever again. |

She's moving away from live broadcasts. This is probably voiceover and a few "walking intro" shots. Less complicated than what somebody like Brittney Payton is doing on Chicago's Best. She can do lots of takes if she flubs a word. It's probably a better situation for her, and probably gives her more flexibility with her kids in exchange for the occasional trip someplace to do a stand-up in front of something like wherever the hell the Hindenburg blew up in New Jersey. Plus now, I don't have to listen to her. Seems all good to me. |
