Just awkward from the word GO. The interviews with ABC 7 "personalities" that dont give a shit about the Cubs and have nothing to talk about. Len has to squeeze information from each one of these people about where they worked first and if they played sport, WHILE DOING PLAY BY PLAY for the Game. The whole damn thing is just a terrible production by ABC....they bought the rights to broadcast the games, not to give me a wikiTV on everyone that does the Weather for them at 2 AM....Ughhh I just want to know how Jim Rose looks the same as he did in 1986! |

This is a little Dan Bernstein-y here, but I hate that when the Cubs homer, the score bug flashes "HOME RUN!!! GO CUBS GO!!!" I'm not a "Go Cubs Go" hater by any means, but making your graphics root for the team just short of spelling out "CUBBIES WOOOOOOOOOOO FUCKIN' SCHWARBER N' SHIT THROW ME A BREWSKI CHAD" just looks so low-rent to me. Most of all, I hate when they air day games on weekdays and pre-empt Jeopardy! Cubs games should not be divided among five different channels (7, 9, 50, CSN, CSN+). This was a team synonymous with one set of call letters and now you never know where the hell a game is. |

I thought we were stuck with this deal through 2019. In a perfect world, it would just be Cubs on 9, Sox on CSN, but that's too hard to MONETIZE. |

looking at it from another perspective, ABC has lost all credibility in reporting sports. They slant everything in favor of their new partner. I noticed this early in the year. However, a recent example was during the Cubs-Sox series. Post game interviews on a fluff question of whether this is a rivalry game with only Cubs players answers being run. |
