Veteran sports talk show personality Mike North will host a Chicago Bears postgame show this fall on WDRV FM 97.1, the Hubbard Radio classic hits station announced Friday.

Starting September 13, North will host “The Mike North Sunday Drive,” a three-hour live talk show after every Bears game. Throughout the season he’ll also call in on Fridays and Mondays to Pete McMurray and Dan McNeil’s morning show on The Drive.

This is so crappy it just. might. work. But what if I'm bummed after a Bears loss and I want to cheer up by listening to "Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac and "Somebody's Baby" by Jackson Browne? Other than Pandora, Spotify, youtube, my external hard drive, and three other radio stations in the market, where do I turn?

Does this last more than one season? Do they pull the plug before the end of the season because North says something incredibly offensive?

what happened to that gig he had on AM 560 a couple years ago? Did that last more than a couple weeks? he had some old Bear scrub I can't remember now.

the problem is once again, its North. I am sure he came to them...or maybe Mac pulled this in? But i am sure North is still doing a % of the ad revenue brought in...and thus, thats what he works on the he think him talkiing is enough for a show. I will try it, but I am guessing its the same crap he keeps doing..

The only thing this show will need to succeed is......more billboards!!

It will keep the core Drive listeners and they have them....but if they are going Post Game, they should go pre game.
