Ten years is a long time to do pre/post. I mean, Kaplan did Cubs pre/post for a long time, but he parlayed that into being the king of Chicago sports media. Rongey is the king of giggling during late-November scoreboard updates.

Honest question - Why does he always seemed to be pissed off?

I get it that the Sox had another terrible season and it's much more enjoyable to pre & post when your team is doing well (Mark Grote).

However, when the season is over and he starts pulling update shifts throughout the day, he sounds cranky - like he doesn't even want to be there.
