Not sure where to put this. During the hawks game they said pat and Eddie would be at Buffalo Wild Wings in Orland park on Tuesday. My son right away paused the game and was all about going. i more than likely I can't drive him there. He calls grandpa and makes his plans. Then he wants me to get a t shirt or something for them to sign. He loves hockey and the players but the broadcasters are a huge connection to the team. I thought bf is right at least for your younger viewers.

Not to disappoint but you probably won't get near that place. It'll be mobbed. :Lot of rape supporters out that way.

Did you ever hit a triple?

I'm sure Harry and Jimmy had some influence on me loving the Sox. The Cubs had a pretty great team in those years as well but Harry and Jimmy were literally certifiable.

For sure. It was a hilarious ride when Caray and Piersall would riff off eachother.

It usually would end with a laughing Harry asking Jimmy if he took his pill today.

Yeah,I grew up on Bob Luce Wrestling. I remember the Sox when Jack Drees and Bud Kelly were doing the games. I also think 44 had the rights to the WHA Cougar games.

Shaw is one of my son's favorite player but he did not really care to go meet him. Last night he jumped up to rewind the tv to see how he could meet pat and Eddie. I think they are okay but they are a big part of the connection with the team for younger fans. It's important.

Its a huge part of the entire media and marketing experience. Any team that chooses to ignore or deny it are the same ones that do amazingly poor in that area.

Couldn't agree with more! They are the marketing gateway, the first and last thing associated with the product. Sox ownership is blind to this and the fan apathy is a by-product. I don't have to love all of them but I should be able to like at least one, or not dislike a plurality.

Jimmy's line was "I'm not crazy, I got the papers to prove it!"
