Have you noticed this? For Draft Kings and Fan Duel. Don't see them as much as you used to. On radio and TV.

Wonder why. Have they figured they've gotten the message out by now.

Because, my God, they must have spend hundreds of millions on all of those commercials.

When you are trying to get legislation passed, you might want to tone it down a bit.

Because they didnt "donate" any to the people they should have way in advance. I think it will survive in different forms, but they have lost momentum and the guideines might be too much for the average player to enjoy.

They will need to find new and unique contests to promote once they have the scum bag political fuckers in their back pockets.

Yes, this is what Obama was going to CHANGE....guess it didnt work. These guys should have been able to continue doing what they had been doing, they only reason they got shit was because they didnt kickback. Yes, I know its Fantasy football and the last thing Obama is going to do is go to bat for this industry, but it sure would have been a nice change to see someone make money in this country without the required donations.

Weren't the people making money just a syndicate of sports team owners and their television rightsholders? That's not really a sympathetic cause.

The only people really making big money were the people who work for both of these companies by playing on the others site.

I think the government wants in on it. Legislators in Illinois wrote a law a while back that they're trying to figure out how to rescind and how to get in on the money. The demand is too great, players don't really care who is operating it or how much they make, so its too attractive to let it continue without them getting in on some of the pie.

Isn't it amazing when you make a true statement about the government like that and you realize its basically the same thing that the mob does.
