Does Larry still go on vacations by himself even though he's married now? Or is the wife with him? |

I was a really good movie...if the CSFMB was a super hero, it would be Deadpool. |

I don't think Larry has peaked yet. He's positioning himself on the chess board to attack the potential afternoon opening when Boers hangs up the head phones. He's the black Tigran Petrosian. |

If you like to listen to Lawrence for its comedic value, yesterday was a bumper crop of comedy. I listened on my way home from work to transition as he detailed all the money colleges threw at him in trying to impress Dan. I had some errands to run later in the night and got to hear about his catching abilities and the speed of his throws down to second. You would think we were talking about a guy on a full ride to a major school instead of a guy who went to De Paul and played on a no cut club team that included people who never played in high school. |

He replayed an entire Theo interview just to get to the point of comparing his catching progress to Schwarber's. |

Yes, he went on some rant about how Cornell is the most beautiful campus in the country. |

Lawrence also had a weird little moment where he talked about raising kids where he said "I don't raise them because I'm...." and stopped abruptly. I thought we were going to have a brave announcement but he moved along. |

How has he not gotten destroyed by other guys at the station for all of these ridiculous lies and exaggerations? |

I remember Larry once bragging about being accepted to Harvard. Then saying something like "I weighed my options and chose DePaul". I believe Larry is a pathological liar. |

My only memories of Leary talking about his catching career was going to DePaul and playing on the club team (no cut as Dolphin said) and then he claims he got a tryout letter for the Expos open tryout? Which I know a number of guys that got the same form letter from a number of teams when they came to the Chicago area. Such as Colorado came to Chicago and the guy who played catcher at DePaul when I PLAYED, got the letter. For the record, I played 3 games at first base for the same Club team, because they needed guys! lol...and I didnt play in HS. |

I used to play in some scrub summer league in Riis Park during in high school. It was filled with lots of construction type guys who were probably decent in high school and now were looking for recreation. I was teamed up with a bunch of guys from Loyola U's club team for some reason. They were supposedly very competitive with De Paul. I was five or so years younger than them and they were "playing college baseball" but they stuck out as being particularly incapable even in a league of misfits. I just figured the club circuit was intramural level sport at these schools. Nothing wrong with it for the fun but Lawrence is talking about it 20 years after the fact. |

He's bright enough, came from a good school district and provided a desirable demographic. Just as everything with Sir, the way he tells the story doesn't really reflect the way these things occurred. A guy like Bernstein will even concede that he couldn't get into Duke under today's standards. Sir takes it the other way. |

Well, there is a difference between Larry and Goff. Larry loves to brag - made up or otherwise - about all of the colleges that wanted him. Goff likes to brag about walking out of an SIU class when the professor wanted to teach the kids proper English. |
