As I really havent followed the complete demise of Julie Dicaro, or I am sure in some circles 'her rise", I would guess that Shakes disgust is a professional one as well.

Before she became the voice of her own reason, I got the full eye roll from those in the PD office that knew her. With all due respect to my people in the PD, they are a partying crew and do as good of a job as they need to do to get paid, which is great for them, but they might not have worked as hard as many other lawers I know. So, for her to be seen in a negative light by that bunch, tells me you really are a lazy ass and didnt do a good job there.

Given the fact she had to defend rape suspects (and also believes all men accused of rape are guilty) would it shock you if she tanked some cases? I have no clue if she did, but would it be shocking if that were the case?
