Can Lawerance please give up on the Bears talk now? Its been 2 weeks since the game, and hes having the special teams coach on, and the TE Gilmore. Please give it a rest, until draft time at least. |

We'll probably get the Tim Hardaway discussion with a twist on race. |

Is he still talking Bears? He had Doug on Monday and I had to change the station. I can only hear how the Bears blew the big one, so many times. |

Larry and Doug were on last night and it was Bears, Bears, Bears the whole time I listened. I wonder if they will ever realize that sometimes you just need a break from Bears talk. The hi-lite was when a caller came on the air and said "hows it going Larry" and there was about 3 seconds of silence, then Larry said "I dont know how Larry is doing, but I am fine". |

I almost look at the Bears talk as a break from spring training talk. There's a lot going on with the Bears so I can't get enough of the talk. |

I can recall a handful of times though the years when Larry does a show a caller will say "what's up Larry" Alot of times Larry ignores it and lets the caller talk. But he's pissed and hangs up on them quick after they are done without responding to them. |

He was "guest starring" for one of the regular hosts last week (can't remember who). I hate it when these guys say they are guest "stars." Lawrence, if you can walk down Michigan Ave. without anyone recognizing you, you are not a "star," of the guest or any other variety. J-Hood used to say this in his 'SCR days as well, and it always bugged me. |

I was listening for about 10 minutes tonight. He started with the bullshit "What are you doing with your 2006 Bears playoff clothing?" Dustmop or wearing to the gym? Shotgun to the head radio. Thank god Sports Central and The Show were on. |

He was saying this last week when he was subbing for Mulligan and Hanley. But I am glad you brought it up because I hate it too. |

Urkel Holmes has some mental hangup that he's a Lawrence and not a Larry / and that you're disrespecting the Black Man by calling him Larry / he's very full of himself / just ask Melissa Michaels! |

Larry is a legend because he is being told he is one, so therefore he see's no reason to work to get better. Typical score host mind frame, he fits right in. |

I listened to a little bit of Larry last night. The problem is that there's too much extraneous crap, like with the Pulse intro. |

"Comparing Ron Santo to Brooks Robinson is like comparing me to Terry! ... ... ... ...he's twice as crazy and I'm more good-looking!" ugh. awkward turtle. Larry has inverted every single caller and location so far. Irving Park in Jeff. The North Side in Mike. So on. |

So driving into the city i tune into the Score and hear Larry Holmes talking AGAIN about Rex Grossman and the Super Bowl. Its the middle of March Larry. Get a new friggin topic. I think my first mistake was tuning into the Score at Noon knowing Murphy is the host. |

The only person telling Larry that he is a legend... is Larry himself. And he has been doing it for years. TM has it right, he has fallen far behind Paruch and drinky. And he never could hold a candle to the the great JR. |

By the way he gave misinformation last week. I don't know if he's corrected it. But he kept saying that if the Bears franchised him next year they would owe him the average of the top five players in the NFL - not line backers. That's not true. They still pay him top 5 LB's next year. Top 5 players is not until year 3. Way to be the Bears beat guy Larry. |

On his last fill-in shift for Murph, Larry "wastes" an hour teasing some "news" on Tommie Harris. He constantly kept chiming in about waiting to hear from Harris before 1 p.m., making it seem like he was waiting for a buddy to return a call. The NEWS: Not getting a number from Jennifer Hudson but getting digits from Fantasia. This is the hard-hitting information I crave for on The Score. |

Yeah. Like I said earlier. It's very important for Larry to let everybody know he's friends with these guys. Like he did with Tommie Harris. Acting like his good buddy Tommie was gonna call him and discuss hitting on this actress. Larry the Bears don't want to be your friend and they are not your friends. Plus it hurts your credibility when you portray your self as such. Larry is basically a jock sniffer. |

It's sad because there were times where I thought Lawrence was a quality Bears beat guy. Something changed. I'm not saying go Mariottian on the players, but he doesn't sound like a "reporter" when he does these things. |

Here's what we'll hear around April 15th, 2007 "Laurence here filling in for Murph. The Cubs are 8-3, the Sox are 7-4, and the Bulls have a hold on the 2nd playoff seed. But I want to talk about your thought on the Bears and what they are going to do about Rex Grossman and Lance Briggs. And I'm still waiting on Tommie Harris to text me back." |

LOL. Larry - Joining me now is Tommie Harris. How are you my brotha? Tommie - Good. Larry - Before I get to Bears. When you gettin back in town. We gotta go clubin. I know you've always wanted to hang with me but it's such a shame and a coincidence that whenever I call you you're either sick or your grandmother just died. Tommie - Uh yeah. We'll go out Lawrence. Larry - Yeah boy. I can bust a move on the dance floor. Plus wait til you see my game with the hunnies. Tommie - Ok buddy. (trying hard not to laugh) |

When talking about Lance Brigg yesterday and what he plans on doing in 20 years... anyone catch him say "who knows, maybe Lance and I will be talking Bears football together on The Score then?" |

I think that is was great that all he has been talking about for the last 20 minutes is what chair to sit on when watching NCAA? He did mention in the beginning there would be some Bears talk since they have such a turbulent off season Good for him! Keep coming back, it works if you work it |

"Well, from my perspective, because I'm a brother," There. Now we never have to listen to another Laurence Holmes show again. That's all of them. |
