I hope you do well at your new station. Just don't like you coming here and blasting us for our view on your program. Especially when you don't post for months about anything and then come back when you have a new gig and expect us to drool at your feet.

Goodluck to you.

PS, Don't vote for me in the tourny. I fear your support would be bad for my campaign.

I like this newer/edgier version of Juiced. He's coming on strong during the tourney. I think we might see a Cinderella run in his future.

Juiced, I don't think it's accurate to say I "blasted" views on the show. I observed there's been a predictable rush to judgment.

You guys regularly note that sports radio types are so very thin-skinned -- and you're RIGHT -- so don't be so think-skinned yourselves when your observations are challenged.

I didn't post for months because I couldn't talk about the gig I'd been working since October.

I didn't expect "drooling." I expect nothing. I need nothing. Listen or don't listen. I posted today to let those interested know what's in my head and where this is going.

Do you think you are the first middle aged man to reach this existential crises?

Life is redundant and inconsequential. Save on person and you save the world? BS. The cosmos are going to spin whether you are aware of them or not.

So play something from Mellencamp's Nothin Matters and What if it Did while laughing at the absurdity of life

I hear the Score is sniffing around John "Records" Landecker and Dick Biondi for a new afternoon show.

(Cue SHARK's explanation of how Landecker legally changed his middle name to "Records.")

Blasted or didn't blast, is a matter of opinion. Not going to argue that.

Understand that this is not the first time you knocked the board. I'm pretty sure you jumped on the Twitter bandwagon and said the board was outdated and no longer a place you wanted to visit. Fair enough, say la vee. #seeya.

Since then you have been coming back here to promote your brand. Ok, Spada does that (moment of silence for his guest............................................................ ..................... ... .) and we tease him all the time.
Does he get discomposed? No. He just takes the jabs and counts his money.

But you say one thing and do another. Come here and promote, fine, great, why not. But don't expect us to treat you like one of the guys, when it is obvious that you do not want to be one of the guys. Your'e a step above a spam bot and below the ambulance chaser.

Q- I'm not "dick kicking." Radio Jesus? What are you talking about? I'm doing Reader's Digest versions of sports and talking classic rock (which is NOT over my head for the goof who made the "lightweight" comment) and a little pop culture. If anything, this should prove I DON'T take myself too seriously.

Mac, what does it take to get the corporate suits to open up the playlist a little bit? Playing the same shit over and over has to be tiring, and you are only in your 2nd week.

I'd be that goof. You're knocking the people that take sports seriously when you say things like meaningless Bears talk. I am not as big a Bears fan as I used to be but there are number of Chicagoans that live and die with the Bears. You used to be a guy that had the meaningless countdown to "pads" talk yet now its simply yak yak. That is my problem. Its nothing wrong with your evolution but don't piss on the guys that haven't quite evolved.

Well its not like they're actually listening to what they play. !0 seconds of intro and outro. Extends the tolerance for Sharp Dressed Man another 40 years.

I'm actually intrigued how guys like Downes did that kind of gig for nearly 40 years. I like the music in the Classic Rock format, but some bands/songs have just been played to death. At least I can turn off the radio, or change the station. These guys are just stuck there listening to the same shit for 4-5 hours per day for their entire lives.

DB is right on target. I love Classic Rock but when you start playing the underrated Kansas hit "Play the Game Tonight" instead of the millionth play of "Dust in the Wind",it will be the same old same old.

The guy making my hot dog at Superdawg thinks its just another hot dog in a life of making hot dogs. From my perspective, the guy is giving me a rare pleasure and making my life better, if just for a moment

no and I really don't completely believe it but I don't want to take this into another direction on how I would derive meaning

Think about it even at the highest level: a doctor saves a life...big deal, it's one in 4 billion and that person is going to die some day anyway

I listen to a portion of the show every day. I didn't expect it to be much different than it is. It's fine. If they add more talk, that's fine.

I listen a little bit more than I did when Downes was on, but still change the station when an AC/DC or ZZ Top song comes on. I like Classic Rock, but there are songs/bands that I really don't need to hear again. Ever.

That's the point.

from Dan's perspective he was a mouse on a wheel rehashing the same meaningless topics season after season, from our perspective (except Score is Doomed) he was making our lives better

So what? Did Jonas Salk make one bit of difference in the movement of the stars?

God, I hope so. I will check in six months from now. How many times do you think "Dream On" will be played between now and then? Does Bovada have an over/under? You and Pete could start a new show pot!

I try. I even occasionally enjoy the cheesy 70s music. But too many land mine songs strewn about make me PTFB to something else.
