"Paint It Black" is on the dance card early tomorrow. Nice jump start. Always good to be in the presence of the sitar.

It is 2015, I'll have Spotify on. But good luck to you.

I understand the value of Spotify, IMU. Many of us prefer our radio live and local. Thanks for the well wishes.

I am tuned in today just getting used to the music. Not too bad so far. I haven't listened to this station for about 10 years. Looking forward to
checking out the show tomorrow Mac. Is there a formula as to the talk vs music ratio. We talking 60/40 talk or what?

My 97.1 guy got a sneak peak at the playlist Tuesday as well, I'm hearing that we can listen for
some Mason Profitt - Two Hangmen, some Strawberry Alarm Clock - Incense and Peppermints,
and some Donnie Iris - Ah Leah.....If this is the case, count me in!

Omg hard to believe Mac posted the very day before he starts a new gig to remind everyone he's starting a new gig. Thanks for the heads up.

Why wouldn't he do that?

He has been the one radio personality that has interacted here more than anyone else.

If you don't like Mac then don't listen to his show, but it just seems dumb to criticize him for pushing his show.

Good luck, Dan.
Don't forget to try to fit in a little fishing talk if you have the time.

And commercial free. And without AC/DC thrown in. But I'm just being IMU. I hope it goes well for you. I'll tune in here and there, I imagine.

You must have missed all of the threads where he answers questions from board members, etc.

I will try to tune in when I can, however the reception out here in DeKalb isn't very good. Problem is I won't want to sit through most of the songs you will be playing to hear you guys talk (how many times times can one be expected to listen to "Tom Sawyer"?). I'm hoping the music/talk ratio is 25/75.

What comes first, a mustard, meat or U.F.O. reference?

Best thing that ever happened before the Macs' first show was the LOOP's announcement about Mancow winning their stupid morning show contest. Adios, 97.9 preset. I should've done it years ago, but now is as good a time as any.

Maybe Mac can chime in if it isn't some big surprise as to the form of the show. My best guess is they are not paying TWO talkers to play anywhere near as much music as they did in the past.
