Mike North, a guy who can barely stick to sports, is now talking sports on a station that has promoted itself for sticking to the music. With the crowded rock section of the Chicago radio dial and the non-necessity of music radio in a Pandora/Spotify world, can we deduce that Greg Solk is planning for the Drive's obsolescence by moving in an FM-talk direction? |

Are you happy? In other words, after 6 months is this really what you wanted to do? As someone who also had a major career adjustment I can say that I understand that earnings aren't the end all be all. I took a pay cut myself moving from commercial to residential but I find myself happier. I was a bit rough on ya in the past over this career move but I know that it was essentially my own selfish motivation to hear you talking sports for 4 hours a day. So for that I'm sorry. In retrospect it wasn't fair to you... assuming that you're being fair to yourself, I shouldnt have judged as I did. |
