It was a pretty terrible tweet.

Prince was no Mickey Dolenz, that's for sure.

Julie who? What did I tweet that was terrible? I think all I said is the Prince tributes were over-the-top...and in many cases... inaccurate. Standing by it.

I agree with Mac. One hell of a guitarist but I see people claiming he was the best now. As for the pop stuff, anyone can write a popular pop song.

You don't know Chicago's new media sensation, Julie DiCaro?

Proof that, much like most of the rest of us, Mac isn't listening to the Snore either.

To answer your question, Mac, Julie DiCaro is a talentless hack of an update girl who can't speak what she reads (think George Offman except worse). She was a lawyer, but found that to be too stressful, so she now spends her time on Twitter fighting for social justice. Some might call her a warrior. She came to bored attention when she agreed with Tim Graham (hack writer from Buffalo) that Patrick Kane is a serial rapist who should be suspended indefinitely and possibly castrated. She plays into the Dan Bernstein playbook of whomever yells loudest is the only voice that matters, yet she won't call Bernstein out on his own misogynistic tweets about Blackhawks reporters boobs.

Julie Andrews?

(I don't mean to speak for others, but I think it means that everyone is sick of the DiCaro talk)

It seems like all the original Score guys eventually burned out on sports, except for Murph. Maybe they didn't like sports much in the first place.

Maybe they are sad because they all overplayed their hands and killed the golden goose.

I think ANY job of more than 25 years would have a degree of fatigue factor... regardless of the ill Golden Goose.

I can't really imagine having to take the relatively same calls from fans each sports season for 25 years. It sounds like a nightmare scene from Groundhog Day.

I can't imagine having to look at Bernsie's smug ass face and hear his crap for years. All the while having to resist the urge to pummel him.

but was it really the kind of work that was fatiguing or was it the subject matter?

I understand that you get to a place where you recognize that sports are meaningless. Your work wasn't meaningless. Your presence made life a little better for others. I think you guys lost that truth which lead to despair.
