I like Kap more than most but man he just straight up steps on Jordan Cornette when they conduct interviews. Cornette is terrible and might be the least knowledgeable sports personality in town that’s regularly on the air——but twice today he asked Rizzo a question and before he was even done speaking, Kap either “expanded” on the question or basically answered it for Rizzo.

Fun bad to listen to.

Yeah the Rizzo segment is usually pretty dull as it is but yesterday was brutal. Anthony was just not into to doing it all. Was boring as hell.

I've caught a little bit of this show.

Who is Jordan Cornette? I don't think I'm alone in not knowing who he is or what he's done before being with fucking Kap.

I feel like he's just a friend of Kap's and he got him the job. Because ESPN 1000 had a bunch of part timers and producers that could have sat in with Kap's ass for his show.

If I am going to listen to this show I'd prefer Cornette over Olczyk. Olcyk, as we are constantly told, seems like a great guy but he doesn't do much for me as a radio host.

Cornette has the worst pop culture knowledge for someone in this generation, which I'm pretty sure he's a part of.

Yeah, Eddie O has the terrible, Mully-like-affliction of saying “uh” every third word when he’s trying to make a nuanced point.

I think Kap and Spiegs would crush “really smart radio” at 670.

When they had Eddie during the NHL playoffs, he kept repeating that stupid fake bet joke while in Vegas. He is prone to making the same giggling little jokes on air.

Kap matched with a ultra sensitive guy speigs who leans sjw I don't know. I think Kap & Fred would be interesting. Kap has a lot of good listenable qualities but can carry the hero worshipping & putting guys on a pedestal and constant over enthusiasm plugging crap products thing too far. Maybe Eddie o will help stabilize the show. Usually ESPN 1000 goes too cheap with Kap sidekicks with obscure guys.

ESPN has a major opportunity to benefit from the brilliant moves to axe speigs and Goff replacing them with unlistenable slugs Parkins & McKnight.

Cornette was on a national show on AM1000 yesterday afternoon. I don't remember the other two guys who were part of it (it might have been a co-host and a producer) but it wasn't bad.
