I suck at golf, but I used to be pretty good. I'm not willing to engage in the practice that it took to even be average again, though. Those days are past.

I just hack it up now and drink fast, hoping my fellow golfmates try to catch up (then I have a built-in excuse for chewing up the course so badly). I get maybe one or two good shots an outing and go through at least a box of balls every time I play 18 now. I don't even bother looking for a ball if I hit it off my line.
