Got to believe more ex crazy Joe players will start voicing how detrimental he is to winning baseball.

I have enjoyed today’s Sox Rays game thoroughly. I am not crazy about the overall state of the game, but I still love it.

Well.. sometimes you have to agree with people you don't like when they are right.. This is ridiculous. Now.. Get off my lawn, and that cloud over there is going to get my fist shook at it while I tell a tale that starts "In my day.."

Completely agree with Jake. Maybe it is the right move in the playoffs if the batter is like crazy hot and killing you constantly. But this is April against a guy that is good but not a world beater. Definitely not a move for this time of year and the situation.

Maddon is more interested in showing the world how smart and quirky he is than in winning ball games.

the gasoline was already organically poured around the dodgers' camp. ohtani's former interpreter lit a match that could ignite a cathartic fire. we know that the former interpreter couldn't use ohtani's deferred dodger money to allegedly pay his own gambling debts.

The fact that the story changed from Ohtani just being a nice guy and paying off $4.5 million in gambling debts he knew nothing about defies all logical explanation.

The great philosopher Cris Carter teaches us the importance of having a fall guy.

Ohtani going to be selling off his contract to one of those late night advertising companies that buys out lottery and legal settlements. I want my money and I want it now.

Listen, I heard through the grapevine that you're taking over Ohtani's game, you know the big one?

For sure. Listen, Ty Cobb sharpened his spikes on the top step of the dugout for a reason. The base IS THE RUNNER'S.

How can you ever catch a guy stealing if that isn't a clean play?

Get to the front of the base or to the home plate side.

It's tough but back in the day it was self policed. If you were in the way you got the spikes.

Fine. But I just don't see how that play gets waved off. The fielder had the ball well before the guy arrived at the base and applied the tag. The runner was not blocked.

I get it.

Let me just add that stolen bases means less walks.
