that after nine months of constant haranguing on the dangers and evils of big time college football programs it is Mc Neil who gets the national attention on the subject?

I think a large portion of the credit should go the Mac & Spiegs producers. Past few months those guys have brought in some pretty entertaining guests. Their work alone in bringing Mike Pereira, Jerry Markbreit and Ray Anderson on the air for the referee lockout has been great.

On a separate note, this may be imaginary radio, but I remember B&B used to have some really funny openers similar to what's done on Mac and Spiegs. It'd be nice if they restarted that, but it may be hard with the goofy talk being so scarce now. The lack of production gets me wondering what do J and Drink exactly do on a show that prefers not taking callers and or interviewing guests? Not a shot but just curiousity and longing for "good ol' days".

If I was to send you an invitation to come over to SomeGuy's house to watch A Walk to Remember, eat chicken kiev and a heart shaped cookie cake for desert....would you RSVP 'Yes'?

You know I love ya Qbo, but you're messing with a guy who can dunk basketballs and drive 95 mph pitches out of the park. Bernsie would destroy you.

You're invited as well.

Change the Kiev to Cordon Bleu, and you have yourself a deal. I just love those creamy little bits of ham stuffed inside!

Totally not ghey

I'm not even sure why it take 2 or 3 producers to run a show with phone calls and guests.

Good question - I do think he was using this story to diversify himself as more than just a sports talker given the amount of time he has spent on it.

That's not saying much. My 15 month old niece could probably win a boxing match with Dan.
