He said Allen didn't hit Lewis in the head. This is coming off him saying Cutler wasn't hit in the head. DESPITE THE FACT THAT CUTLER HAD A CONCUSSION.

I think this is a trend. No matter what happens, Hub will alway say "He didn't hit him in the head."

Hub gets a different view of all games. In his League KC is 8-3

He was so much worse than ZZ! When he was a Bears employee they could do no wrong.

Hub's first impulse is always to defend a player from any kind of accusation. In this type of on-field issue, or when he's commenting on disciplinary matters like steroid use, or off-field arrests and personal issues, he will always defend. Listen for it and you'll catch the pattern.

I picked up on this over the years on player arrests. He always presumes innocence and applies a reasonable doubt standard, which would be great if he were a judge or jury. But he is not, and should be able to admit the bleeding obvious.

Except when it came to Brandon Marshall's last incident, in which Hub presumed guilt first. But otherwise, yes, Hub doesn't like to take a stand against any player...unless it's Brandon Marshall of course. I guess he doesn't want to ruffle any feathers for his publication.

Someone who's laughably defensive about the slightest critcism of Brandon Marshall? That narrows it down to basically everyone who's ever posted here, ever.

I think he's right on both counts. Of course, you can get a concussion even when your head takes an indirect hit.

I'm surprised no one has been ripping Adrian Peterson for leading with his head on many runs -- he initiated several helmet to helmet shots against the Bears, and the announcers praised him for the toughness (though they did say he was bound to hurt himself at some point if it continued).

Allen didn't hit Lewis in the head. It was shoulder to shoulder

Allen is a good 2-3 inches taller than Lance. Allen launched himself upward in the hit. How in the world with those two things could it be a shoulder to shoulder hit?

Because he bent his knees as he braced to go up maybe.

I don't know. But it was shoulder to shoulder. Their helmets didn't touch

Their helmets didn't touch because Allen hit Louis in the face with his shoulder.

Their helmets may have not touched, but something hit his head. Look at how his head goes back...

Ill have to go back and look but when I saw the relays it seemed shoulder to shoulder

Also regarding Cutler , a concussion doesn't mean someone was hit in the head. Its possible to land on your head

Sorry man, I know you're not the biggest football fan, but I just dont get your fandom of Hub. He's extremely unlikable, and has pretty much proven that he doesn't know a damn thing about football. There's nothing worse than hearing someone stupider than you trying to patronize you, and that's the jist of Hub's gig.

That's what I find amazing. Hub has been the PFW Hublisher, writer and editor for 30 + years. Yet, he knows abosoultly nothing about football. It's one of the most amazing things in the history of media.

That's not mine. I've heard others say that. Maybe it was Mac or Boers.

Yes this is true. It's how he earned the nickname Hub Asskiss in the 80s.

Skip to 1:40 to see some vintage Hub!

http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/04/23/ ... 981-draft/

Even then he was smug. "Everything's happening just as I thought it would". "Well I knew Seattle would pick defense, it was just the secondary instead of the line".

 8)

Yeah, I pretty much remember hub being a douche from the moment I became aware of his existence.
