I think the problem with Hawk is that he sees himself as some beloved Hall of Fame announcer and former player and the rest of the world doesn't hold him in that esteem.

The going silent and the umps are out to get us bits used to make me laugh. By the end of last season, they pissed me off. But those are the only things. Hawk is just fine when doing his little catch phrases.
