I think baseball is slightly better live

People just go to sit outside and talk with friends. That's why people don't watch the World Series. People don't like baseball. People like being outdoors and seeing fireworks and eating food.

There is a percentage of people who are like that.

For me, its slightly better live, but I love a good baseball broadcast

Although, Id say you're doing the same thing as JORR when he brings up gambling, fantasy etc.

Being outdoors in the summer is just one of baseball's many good things.

It's easy to watch baseball in the middle of the summer when nothing else is going on and you want to spend time outside. However those "true fans" mostly ignore the playoffs unless their team is in it. Baseball is just a way to pass the time until television shows come back in the fall.

I'm not trolling. I'm just discounting the good things about baseball and making broad generalizations about fans of the sport once I have decided that certain reasons to like something should be ignored to figure out what a "true fan" is.

Because I've learned in the thread that I'm not a "real fan" unless I watch it live. I really want to be a fan of the Masters Tournament, not just a TV show.

Do you not understand that making an effort to obtain a difficult ticket goes far beyond simply and happily watching a TV show?
