I've noticed that on some days, the podcast from B&B won't be on iTunes for 1-2 days after the fact. They are often uploaded out of order. The descriptions are sometimes nonsensical, resembling the writing of 3rd graders.

My assumption is that this is the responsibility of their interns. If so...they need to find new interns. If they can't even upload a podcast properly and punctually, it likely speaks volumes about their work ethic and ability overall.

Or maybe I'm just cranky on this Friday

I've seen the same thing. Sometimes the uploads are incomplete, so you only get something like hours 1-2, and 3-5. I agree that it seems whoever uploads these files doesn't take their work seriously.

I'm guessing the guys on the mic could care a less either way (don't blame them, it isn't their responsibility). But if one of the better known callers mentioned it on the air, I wonder if it would actually accomplish anything.

It appears that it is ALL intern dependant. Sometimes ALL hours are uploaded by the time 7pm rolls around, some days half the hours are uploaded same day and the rest next day, and many times they are out of order - mis-labeled - and not done in a timely manner.

I've tried sending in an email every time they go on a run where it's clear that someone is actually giving a crap and posting in a timely/complete manner....comment box usually never gets positive notes, so I want it to stand out that people do appreciate those files being available in a full, complete, and timely manner.

I haven't seen the complete podcast of hours 1 through 5 posted in almost two weeks. Every day there's at least one hour missing.

these interns are unpaid 19-20 year olds.... having known a friend who interned in radio, you really have to love radio to have motivation to work for free and work well.... let along having to drive out to random stupid events to hand out free junk....

the lack of quality interns iss why some hosts are sad when a good intern leaves... because 80% of them are just not motivated

regarding podcasts..... i'm just glad they are provided for free.... sure some days are really slow, or they are not cut right.... but its free, there are no commercials.... it beats the hell out of listening live to the score where literally 25 of the 35 minutes are filler/commercials (your b&b hourly podcasts are all around 35 minutes in length)
