I forgot about Mac with his grilling excapades. Also the constant talk about fishing, Rolling Stones, cottage even gambling stuff is not exciting. It has become fashionable and excepted practice to dis Booyah but some of the stuff they do radio wise is not bad. I am speaking at the national level. Cowherd and Le ba tard are better than anything the score puts out. At least they are informed. Once you get past the same local dribble provided by the beat reporters you really don't get much from the score. When they tend to talk national stuff it is invariably the sensationalized stuff. Lebron James worship passes for in depth analysis if you call to talk basketball you will thinking that the NBA title chase is non existant because the only team that can possibly win it is the Miami Heat. How can begin any thoughtful conversation regarding basketball when that is your basic premise. Baseball always comes down to Baseball Prospectus rehashes and some sort analytic metric that he wants to use. The eye test with regards to sports no longer exists. It has killed any possibility for debate with respect to some of the shows. I know this little screams PTFB. I have.

The same New York writer, Mitch Lawrence, who's story was parsed by The Stain is also the same source who's broke that Thibbs wants to leave the Bulls. However that story won't get any traction from the afternoon show who think that whatever problems the Bulls are experiencing have 100% nothing to do with GarPax or Jerry Reinsdorf. The problem with trying to buy (and sell) the "tanking" approach is that you change a pro sport into the equivalent of pro wrestling, which in turn reduces those two clowns into wrestling announcers.
