Yeah, that was an unfortunate moment for Danny. What the fuck is wrong with being distracted by something fun for 10 days? No one thinks that this run to the LLWS is going to solve the problems in those neighborhoods. They aren't "ignoring" the problems. They know full well that they will still be there after this weekend.

My favorite part was when the little rich kid from Deerfield was telling callers from the South and West sides what they should think and how they should feel. It's almost to the point where i can't even hate listen anymore.

Genuine sociopathy would be interesting. At this point, he's just a smart guy with a stupid job going through the motions so he can make a lot of money for not a lot of work.

I am glad I could not listen this afternoon if he went against the LLWS like that. When did sports stop being a distraction? That is the entire point. I guess when Dan monetized himself.
