One of the rare days I get to listen and it was a pretty fun show today. Lucky me. Terry must've broken out the Yule log early and let Dan suck on it.

As they just used it for the outro ... 'fun' note on "I've Got a Man" I never knew until recently ... the 'woman' he raps with in the song is actually also Positive K with some recording trickery

I remember being shocked by that in 92

I had the album "Da Skills that pay da bills"

Trivia: The song right after I got a man starts with a talk radio caller busted by the host for calling in pretending to be a second guy

Also Pis and Jay Z used to battle as an opening for BDK

Bernstein: As you know this is more than just a sports show. We do discuss social issues and we will never apologize for that. Today, I decided to assemble a panel to discuss Ferguson and race in America. Joining me are Laurence Holmes, Jason Goff and West side Mike. I'll start. The fact that their was no indictment of that racist, cracker KKK police officer was a complete injustice. It was sickening.

Laurence: That's right, Dan!!!!

Jason Goff: Speak it, brother!!!!

West Side Mike: I'd like to add that it was HOT GARBAGE!!!!!

Bernstein: That concludes are discussion on Ferguson and race in America. Up next, we'll discuss the Wang-whippers of the NBA.

If Lawrence talks really slowly about race relations, and pretends to be the voice of reason, maybe he'll hide the fact that's he's about as tolerant as Bernstein accuses anyone who disagree's with him of being.

None more than Bernstein. He knows more than the grand jury. He didn't care about the truth, just his liberal version. If you disagree, you're a racist.

Danny calling out Jim Thompson on being gay and you know he has enough info to confirm it or he would have never said it. For Danny thhats tough guy radio, unless he just got a call from the legal department, as I am pretty sure he is correct, but Thompson has gone to some lengths to never come out of the closet.

Why in the hell would this have become a topic of conversation? And who cares?

More importantly, hasn't the gay community evolved to the point where outing people is viewed upon with disdain? Don't Danny & @SQNEvents know this?!?

I traded a 1974 Topps Billy Williams for a 1975 Topps Jose Cardenal because Jose was my favorite player.

My brother still wants to kill me to this day.

I have both those cards. Much like me, they've seen better days.

I think it started with Terry talking about those halcyon days when he was a general assignment reporter for the Chicago Heights Star.

I, I, I, I, covered Thompson's first gubernatorial campaign for the Star, and uh, eh, eh, that was eh, uh, he had a fiance', but uh, eh, eh, when you work at a newspaper, uh eh, I, I worked with real smart guys, uh, eh, not me, but uh, eh guys like Elliot Harris, and uh, eh, eh, you could get the real stories in the hallway everyday, uh, eh, Harold Washington, uh, eh Jane Byrne, now there, there's some stuff.

Yeah, I didn't know what he was getting at. I assumed he was muttering that Thompson and Byrne were having an affair.

Bilandic & Thompson both get hitched right before running....hhhmmm.

Washington's bizarre portrait was created for a reason.
