I literally heard him chub up for Theo yesterday when he was reading the Cubs' Baseball America ratings. It was an odd sound, especially from a professed "Sox fan".

Somehow "Sox fan" dan was able to spin not having Bryant in the lineup as a positive. "They aren't taking into consideration what Tommy La Stella is gonna give you!"

I think I'm pretty realistic as a Sox fan. And I'm not some sensitive nutjob measuring column inches for the respective teams. But there is a marked difference in the way dan approaches the Cubs and Sox. If Eaton was being replaced in center by J.B. Schuck, dan would say, "Shuck, bad... just bad." But Bryant who is supposed to be maybe the best rookie ever gets replaced by Tommy La Stella (actually probably Mike Olt or Chris Coghlan) and bernstein can find a positive.
