My favorite part was Bart Scott correcting him about what he said about his kids and football. Bart told him his kid plays and will be fine because he will teach him right. Dan was dying to open his mouth but knew better.

Don't think Drinky got the pass from his wife to make the trip. During "propers" Dan said he was back at the shop.

One other thing I thought about this was why they do not go every year anymore. I seem to remember that they did and had good shows and good times. How bad can radio business be that they cannot afford a few plane tickets and hotel etc which is a write off in order to do these shows?

I seem to remember SB shows being discontinued because they sucked hard. They used to make fun of radio row.

I was able to catch about ten minutes yesterday, right before Hub came on. Drinky informed B&B that he was not allowing callers during the segment. Terry and Dan seemed caught off-guard by his decision. Hey drinky, instead of keeping callers off the air, why don't you shut the fuck up and stay off the airwaves. You're a dumb ass and your attempts at humor blow.

when i listened to the podcast it sounded moreso like a confirmation that he is going because terry is about to retire and he wanted to do it one more time before retiring. Also didnt terry say something to the effect that it was going to be special for "reasons i dont want to talk about right now". pretty sure that was said that way

I agree with billyp on this. I thought it sounded like a farewell commentary when I heard it live. Then I listened to the transition podcast again to see if I missed it...nope. Seems likely Terry will announce his retirement soon.

I caught the end of last night's show. Terry said he will be off the air for a while, starting Monday. Let's just all pray that doesn't mean Rozner.
