Bryant was kind of slumping before he went off against some garbage pitcher the Reds trot out to ensure losses. His numbers have been kind of rescued by this series, because beforehand he was starting to circle the drain a little.

Any criticism of a second year stud like Bryant is kind of sour grapes. The guy isn't a finished product yet, and he's one of the best hitters in the game.
