Here is the essence,

Jose 'Fernandez'....Jim Rose, learn your Cubans, and who are you crappin!"

That is the essence right there!

A mis-speak isn't the essence of WYC. Pointing out blatant hypocrisy is the essence.

You missed the essence of Sarge's sarcasm.

The current format of WYC is all about mis-speaks. That's not what the "bit" is about and Dan knows it. That's part of the reason he gets frustrated, and also part of the reason why nobody cares about the segment anymore.

It's been a long time since I listened to WYC.

All these years, I've never understood why there isn't a sound clip of Brickhouse intoning "watch it, now" in the intro.

"Critics at extra large" was always a must listen for me back in the day, much better than WYC.
The best was when Harry would get ripped, then instantly try and defend himself.

And so this annual rich experience has gone to acknowledge, the, uh, uh, uh, the royalties of, to, and the royalty of this event.

i listened to the first half of wyc last night. unlistenable. not one of them were good. if they were "essence-y" they were obscure boring craps, if they were at least sports related, they were awful.

I thought one of them was good. It was near the end... I cant remember what it was about so I guess it wasn't that good.

This crap goes out to Hank Scorpio who in his post on 12:29pm Sept 30th said and I quote, "cant remember what it was about so I guess it wasn't that good.". Meriam-Webster defines "cant" as "lively, lusty" where he should have use the contraction of "can not" in "can't" "meaning to be unable to do otherwise than". Ask yourself next time you piece of shit Scorpio who are you crapping!!!!!!
