wow. not sure, looked up the duration of average contracts with local networks for broadcasters, looks like it's 2-3 years. she was there for 2.5 years.

i don't think she was so poor in delivery or mistake prone that channel 5 didn't want to renew, plus the fact that she's a woman and that's really under scrutiny these days. did she want too much money to renew? longer than average (for her appeal/status/q-factor) duration of an extension?

could always be something more juicy? too bad. she's opinionated, which is good for the radio show, not so important for the 2 mins/30 secs at 10:24 pm.

That explains the additional of Tuesday's to her regular appearance.

Her wikipedia pic is scary. I tried to post it, but it is too large.

This?

She could scream “ Death to America !!! Allahu Akbar!! “ into the mic every day for a week at 670
and it not affect her job at Ch5 at all with the 20k people that actually watch the 10pm news all the way to the sports segment would care .

Leila had mentioned she was a trained dancer. Good for her for losing and keeping the weight off unlike the fat slobs she works with at the Score.

yeah, looks like leila made a statement about nbc and her parting ways and she's waiting to see what the future brings her. not burning bridges over more money or control is the way to go. i always thought she valued the chance to voice her opinions for a few hours a week on the radio, though she seems more reserved now. general malaise at wscr or maybe some hosts have grinded her down to a bowl of jello?

here's bruce wolf's take:

Quote:
Continuing on the Leila beat — please see my last thread on this. It’s a gem — I fervently hope she was fired by Ch. 5. And fired for saying something bad about Trump on @670TheSCOROS, which elicited one complaint from an old lady viewer named Laverne. A fellow can dream, no?

I don't think that's her in the picture.
