Parkins is a big floppy dog. He’s always willing to give u conditional love. That’s a good quality but I wouldn’t exactly put stock in his opinions

Was what I consider "Peak B&B" (2004-Penn State) really a more niche show that wasn't the most popular, ratings wise? It seemed to me the lines were always jammed, WYC was always chock-full of callers in the first 2 segments and they only said spots opened up at the end. Though there came a time when they had to beg people to call in for their bits, I always perceived the show as wildly popular.

There will never be anything better than the B&B peak, forget the ratings.

The show started beating 1000 after 1000 fired Mac.

Wow, I just had to look it up, and it took until '09 for B&B to beat them? I wonder what those books back then were like.

Except Ditka gave his address and offered to "whup your ass" in a direct physical confrontation while Lil' Danny he uh...offered to give someone's kids address?

The man drowned in his own hubris, and why not, he had gotten away with tons of oddly beta male behavior for years.

The question is whether or not the station will read the room and realize the SJW idiocy died a year or so ago and pivot.

The condescending swarminess of the Bernstein "Smart Fans" era has thankfully come to an end, but what is next?

I know you just wanted to get off three more paragraphs about how some entity is years behind your brilliance on some stupid issue, but the fight challenge is in the very first response

The problem is that even if they went with more meatballish hosts, the station’s partnerships with the teams limit what opinions they are willing to air.

The inability to apologize when you clearly have done something wrong is, as doc noted, nothing but pride. I don’t think anyone would argue that what he did was ungentlemanly and warranted a sorry, Eve. If his job was not on the line

Even worse, you have a family to feed. You eat the shit sandwich even if you think you are right. That’s what a man does

It's out of character. Think of how many people he's sold people out or how many times he's toed the line. He's always been company man or yes boss man. He also doesn't think he did anything wrong, he thinks he's right.

Maybe he does have something else lined up.

I am worried about him. He has not been around for awhile. I sent him a PM and it has not been read.

Ahh, but here is where your ignorance of the stations former glory betrays you. Ditka gave the caller the address of the building he was at and invited him to come and fight him, where your here Lil' Danny....well he went with the Beta dude twitter fight and the threat to "get kids involved", which seems incredibly indefensible, even for a Lil' Danny fan like yourself.

So, using the HFC query, "Who you crappin'? Kinda sad that you did not get to listen to the station before hapless goofs like Bernstein ruined what was a very entertaining personality driven sports talk radio station.

You can go back to your safe place where your hero will undoubtedly be reposting twitter content, you will likely be able to pay a few Sheckles to be a "super user" or in your case maybe pay for your guys upcoming Only Fans where you can pleasure yourself while watching Lil' ole Danny read aloud from Twitter.

Thanks for your call

225 W Washington, it's a famous clip. In the context of this board, this is like you telling me we landed on the moon lol

Neal from Northlake would've found it, just like Greg Messenger from Kildeer could've found the score studios with the GPS in one of his six cars

Sorry you are upset your guy got launched, it will be OK Lil' Fella.

In many ways it was an overplay of his gimmick, in the end he ended up like a guy he claimed to have never heard of despite going to college in North Carolina Richard Fliehr, but Ric had way more fun overdoing the Nature Boy gimmick than the hapless Dan did overplaying the SJW gimmick.

I wish there were more Who's Your Guy segments on YouTube from the B&B days. I found 1 cut-up from 2011 that was just the intros and drops, had me giggling for a solid 15 minutes.

The second worst segment in radio history.

It's better when it's just the call-response of "Positives/Negatives" and the drops, but my humor can be horribly childish.

What was the worst segment in radio history, in your estimation?

Any segment done by Murph
