we saw what Le Bron could do by himself with two other hall of famers and a great complimentary cast after the bulls won a game 1 several years ago. Don't be stupid with your hope

They still might lose the series. But they have a chance.

I just don't know B&B's take. At the start of the year they thought they had a chance. Then the Bulls had a bad stretch and B&B said no way they can beat Lebron. Then they changed and said they can win a title. Then changed again and said they can't.

Where are they at now?

Terry's guy has given him the expected outcome on his answering machine. Unfortunately, he won't listen to the message until after the series is over.

I'm seeing a lot of people on Twitter who think the Bulls will sweep and win the finals. Wake up, be smarter. LeBron.

for the ever growing list of people who post without listening, both said the series was going seven games, Dan said Cavs win, Terry said Bulls win.

I was talking about their absolute stances that changed 3 or 4 times since the start of the season.

Good to know where they are now.

i cant believe bernstein made a prediction without someone having a gun to his head.

im king of the people with pessimistic attitudes, but i saw the bulls making a lot of jumpers (albeit wide open) game one. The points in the paint was 2 to 1 cavs. i'll be simplistic and say whoever wins game 2 is going to win the series

predictions are worthless so that doesn't bother me, it's the strawmen arguing over 'people on Twitter' who think the Bulls are awesome. I'm sure those people do exist somewhat, but since Bernstein doesn't allow comments on his columns he should be consistent and not worry about those types instead of making them convenient radio fodder.

Was speaking to the ambiguity of Lil Dans prediction. Covering all bases with that.

But wasn't it just 2 or 3 weeks ago that this conversation took place between them?

Bernstein: Bulls aren't getting past Lebron. They're just not.

Boers: Nope.

Now Terry picks them and Bernstein says they have a shot.

that really has been galling...suck for three years, then there's still no guarantee? Just go out on a limb and say the Cubs should win it all. This is not complicated.

Their take (since it's pretty hard for them to have separate opinions on anything with Boers):
At the beginning of the season, the Bulls were a championship contender who needed to take advantage of the short window of time they had to win a championship while LeBron was still gelling with his new teammates. By the middle part of the season, even though they say the regular season makes no difference, they came to a conclusion that that Bulls were not a championship caliber team. Now, with Love's injury, my guess is that they are probably back at the window is open, even though this is a flawed team.

They don't really know what they are talking about, in short.

In all fairness to Dan, the situation remains fluid.

they did change in tenor, but that's not a complete re-hash of what they said. While they did say that the window was open with LeBron gelling with his team, they made it clear that this team couldn't compete with the West. They did downgrade their view on the Bulls which was good as there are two teams better than them in the Eastern Conference, they were out over their skis on the first thought. Now, the window is still open to get to the Finals but they won't win a championship and they never were going to.

Hmm a surprise, like a mentally challenged individual reviewing the Avengers movie? Or will it be a drunk guy from a trailer park call in to say the Bulls will sweep the Cavs. I have ESPN 1000 on, so feel sorry for me.

The Bulls have the right to think one of the best coaches in the league is bad! They have that right! You can't take that away from them!

It seems so ridiculous that I would swear they made it up and the media are chasing themselves all over the twitterverse about nothing.

Dan: They don't like the fact that he won't develop talent that they believe that they're getting to try to help him win.

Dan: They don't think Thibodeau's methods work in the big picture.

LeBron would much rather have Thibodeau's methods than David Blatt's.

Dan: The NBA leader in minutes played per game will never win the title.

The difference is no more than 90 seconds.

This season: Jimmy Butler (1st) 38.9, James Harden (2nd) 36.8, Kyrie Irving (3rd) 36.4, LeBron James (5th) 36.1

2013-2014 season: LeBron James (6th) 37.7

2012-2013 season: Kobe Bryant (2nd) 38.6, LeBron James (8th) 37.9

2011-2012 season: Kevin Durant (3rd) 38.6, LeBron James (6th) 37.5
