Well, if there's actual news pertaining to the case, that's the ONLY time these guys should talk about that creep at Penn State.

BREAKING NEWS I highly doubt that's the reason why. It's not like WSOX is also WCUB.

I was excited when he called them ES-PIN the other day. Its a nice change and it serves the purpose of not saying their famous letters.

If Bernsy despizes ESPN so much, he could call them "the All-Sports Network" like Tony Kornheiser used to call them or "the Mothership" as Dan Patrick refers to them now. Actually, I stand corrected. Bernsy never worked in Bristol, CT. Nevermind!

Did you just correct yourself in your own post and leave in the bad info?

And why would he have to be a former employee to despise them?

Damn that would've been a perfect Button 48 drop moment. Pretty funny exchange between Berns and that caller.

He's just another wasted draft pick of Angelo's. In fact he's the second quarterback that Angelo drafted in the past two years that they let go the following year.

P.S. - he's also a draft pick (5th round) that Hub Arkush really liked....figured I'd add that for the Hub haters.

I don't think 5th and 6th round QBs have a long NFL shelf life. Trying to paint that as Angelo's fault is a stretch.

Considering his other failures and that fact that he was the one who made the final decision on draft picks...it's not a stretch at all. And based on what you state alone, that 5th and 6th round QBs don't have a long shelf life, why draft them then in the first place considering all their other needs??

Those BAD picks (along with many others) were definitely on Jerry -- which is probably why he was fired.

You actually think he was fired because Dan LeFeveure or whatever his name is didn't work out?

I said "BAD picks" - that encompasses all of his bad picks.
