Such a strange week.
Dan is on vacation and Laurence can't go a segment without mentioning what he's doing. Very odd to be repeatedly talking about "your partner". Then Laurence does his bring a bunch of hot women in the studio to talk sports and have a good time. That's actually pretty cool he can hang around hot women, but it further brings out the awkwardness in him. Then these moments of talking slowly, breaking out a southern twang while yelling, "fam", laughing uncontrollably at things that are not funny, just a weird dude
Leila has no idea what real work means. She thinks Dan retweeting a Bears article or tweeting that he's angry that the Bears.com wrote a puff piece on Kevin Warren means Dan is working on vacation. Talk about living in a fantasy world. I guess she's living "her truth" as she likes to say about 10 times a show now.
Lawrence thinks Leila is the hardest working person with all of those jobs. How many people are able to work 10-2 T-F with the permission of their full time job and not impacting that job at all? Talk about living in a fantasy worker where watching sports is work and then reminding the audience every segment of how many jobs you have (all while not really paying attention to the NFL but having an arrogance about being uninformed).
More random thoughts...Shawn King is a guest a week or two ago and says coordinators like to coach from the sidelines because of their ego - being seen on camera and looking like a head coach vs. being up in the booth. Dan thought this was an amazing thought, Lawrence didn't immediately embrace but now agrees (shockingly). Now, it's being mentioned through the week by him and Leila as if this is a fact. This isn't a new topic - some coaches like being on the field to get a better feel for the game and to talk to players right off the field/coaching, some like being in the booth for a better view of the field. It's possible that Shawn King is right for some coaches also, but for these "experts" like Laurence/Dan to just act like this is now common knowledge/fact when they even had said they had never heard that before King said it....just lazy.
On another note, Leila gives a tease for High Noon, saying the "dog ate my homework"...Laurence says, don't worry he's got a great topic, but Leila sort of reminds him that this is an actual tease and the dog reference is about her story she'll share to which Laurence instantly knows exactly what she's going to be speaking about. My point being and it isn't a new complaint...the show is way too programed, but that's because Holmes needs to know what's going to be said before it's said and all topics beforehand so they can be aligned as a show....way too programmed for me and scripted.
Then, we're back to going after Aaron Rodgers in every other segment. We know this is related to Covid, but they use a lot of his comments as new attack modes for things that go back to him not getting the vaccine. Rodgers is a weird dude, but let's make sure we know the real reason why this show (and the Score as a whole) don't like him.
Dan says Kevin Warren made sure to be seen on camera and he "knows where the camera's are" on those national TV games.
So, if I am following Dan correctly, Warren, who has been seen standing while taking notes and also sitting in his suite, knows to be seen by the camera's and is doing this on purpose and on specific times/games.
Dan must not be watching much sports these days, but nearly every game, they show the coordinators in the booth, sometimes they show the owners/GM's. That is pretty common. It's not some act. Warren isn't manipulating the camera's to show him.
