Okay, well, I think you traffic way too much in calling people shitty human beings and it's not great for the board's perception or its quality of discourse.

I didn't hear much today (which a lot of you would like us to think is true of you as well, but I digress) .....

Did the lads happen to bring this up today?

http://www.nesn.com/2012/06/jerry-sandusky-testimony-may-bring-eye-opening-unaired-comments-from-nbc-interview-to-light.html

tl;dr .... there apparently is quite the trove of moments NBC didn't broadcast of the Costas/Diddly interview .... to wit:

"There were hundreds, if not thousands of young boys you came into contact with, but there are allegations that at least eight of them were victimized. Many people believe there are more to come. So it's entirely possible that you could've helped young boy A in some way that was not objectionable while horribly taking advantage of young boy B, C, D and E. Isn't that possible?"

Sandusky's reply certainly leaves a lot of questions to be answered.

"Well -- you might think that," Sandusky said. "I don't know. In terms of -- my relationship with so many, many young people. I would -- I would guess that there are many young people who would come forward. Many more young people who would come forward and say that my methods and -- and what I had done for them made a very positive impact on their life.

"And I didn't go around seeking out every young person for sexual needs that I've helped. There are many that I didn't have -- I hardly had any contact with who I have helped in many, many ways."

Yikes .... and this fella is takin' the stand .... maybe the defense lawyers chipped in for a soul on this one and kinda sorta want to take a dive on this one.

Yeah, what little I caught today covered that. "Hey, I didn't rape every kid!"

And the 2 other (former?) Penn State coaches who said it's not strange for grown men to shower with little boys.

Please tell me this was a typo and you meant "grown." Is there something about Jerry we didn't know?

I heard the end of the show and didn't think Bernsy really took a shot at Danny Mac (unless I didn't hear the right part?) It was Goff who told Dan to stop programming other people's shows (and he probably said it tongue in cheek, to be honest), and Bernstein simply replied "apparently that's what I do". Then they drifted off into other critiques about they've heard about the show. I guess it was a little bit of a jab but nothing out of line, I didn't think.

Goff even prodded a bit more, telling Terry to stop being a follower. So if anything, it's J that should be in trouble with Danny... :)

It wasn't the actual end of the show, more like 15min from it.

ah OK. I'm searching the podcast but all I've found is the comment at 20:45 that setting over/under's isn't their bit, which led Terry into his Murph impression.

Am I still not finding the right part? (I suck..... )

I also am having trouble finding any "shots." The stuff Goff said "stop programming other people's shows" was funny. And what he said to Terry about being a follower.... funny. Nothing off color there. What the hell are we missing? I don't want to miss any opportunities to make the 1 - 115 chunk more engaging for you lads.

Uh, uh, I, I, I, look, Damaneeeeel and I go way back, way, way back, but, and I've always said this, eh, uh, uh, in point of fact, that was a different time, but, uh, eh, I, I, I've been a follower since I followed Mike Downey to the sock hop over at Bloom, uh, eh, eh, eh, he was driving a GTO and I, I, I had an old Dodge Challenger, back then I loved those old Mopars, and mohairs too (by cracky) but again, and look *SIGH* in my world that's just Danny being Danny and he didn't mean anything by it and danny bernstein is my partner now, but look, they're really all just the same to me from Brock Walters back at Jack-In-The-Box to Mitch Albom at the Free Press to Damaneeeel to danny bernstein, pretty much all walking rectums that I put up with during my work shift.

Mac, is there a growing disconnect between you and the afternoon show?

A lot of posters seem to have turned on BnB... Myself included...

No disconnect. At least there is a transition. A disconnect would mean none. Get my drift?

Strangely enough I can't find it so maybe someone could give it a shot...

The gist of it was BernSTINE telling you to "Suck it up and let it go" when referring to your "conversation" in transition.

CBS CENSORED IT FROM THE PODCAST!!!

Actually, maybe it happened during a scoreboard update? They chop those out of the podcast and sometimes we lose some good stuff when that happens.

Nah, I heard it on the podcast because I PTFB'd during the show. It's in there. It was a "suck it up and let it go...damaneeeeallll" followed by Goff's cackle. He may have said it more than once.

Anyone? We wanna give our guy Mac the straight poop.

Found it, but not sure it's a shot. Just before the 23:00 mark, Dan is talking about his kids fighting about being pro- or anti-LeBron. The daughter was non-committal, and the son wasn't mad about that because he's learned to get over it and walk away... damaneeeeel. Jason laughed. Didn't seem very malicious, to me.

Which is strange because it seems you would have a hell of a lot more in common with M&H than with Lil Danny and the miserable stuttering fucking useless prick he's partnered with, your previous relationship with him notwithstanding. Still, any type of "shot" that was taken at you by Lil danny, to paraphrase an earlier post, just shows what a gutless fucking little weasel he is. He has the temerity to bust balls about internet tough guys and guys who post on message boards but didn't have the sack to do anything but backpedal from you when confronted. When he's in charge of the phones though, whoa, look out, he can shout you down and hang up on callers with the best of them. Fucking definition of a bully and a coward.

Boy, I can't agree with that one. Bernstein is the only guy on the airstaff who speaks fishing. And he's a food freak. And a fellow grammar dick. Terry is a pal. We've laughed a lot together and cried together too. I'm friendly with Brian. We exchange e-mail now and again. Mully wants nothing to do with me since I playfully chided him for his fascination with British culture. Did it with him right there with me -- not maliciously -- in a transition. That was the last tranny we did with M&H. I've tried since... say hello to him every time I see him. Ask him how he's doing. He doesn't reply. Real adult behavior.

Oh, there's more Jimmy Pasta. Tomorrow I'll share with you guys a real good Mully story about the lengths to which he travels to avoid me. I'll put it in the midday show thread. We need more activity there. My ego is crushed seeing a couple of inferior products with more views. Wink wink.

What is awesome is during the whole "Linsanity" stuff that Bernstein was talking about how unique this was and how he deserved the attention unlike Tebow.

Then, Carmelo was coming back and he decided that Lin was a joke.

This new Lin take has me baffled. I totally agree that "Linsanity" was way overblown; but, suddenly, Berstine has decided that Lin is horrible. That doesn't seem to be the case. He seems to be at least decent. I have no idea why Bernstine feels the need to shit on Lin. And, again, it's not like the guy has no pedigree: he was Mr. Basketball for fucking California. I'm one of the biggest religion-haters going, but even I have no problem with Lin.

Racism? Hmmmm. Mulligan at least was up front with me off the air about not wanting to do the transition thing... long before it was terminated. He found his "out," lame as it was, and the crosstalk ended. Too bad. How bad can it be for 10 minutes? We're professionals. DO YOUR JOB. Grown men in my business aren't always grown men... self included. Hoping that's all in the past for me.
