That is not possible anymore. MAGA has stained every part of our society and they continue to do so.

MAGAts are like a virus, infecting everything, and no one seems to care. Most people aren't even noticing, let alone trying to eradicate the virus.

What a trophy it would be to find the now decayed corpse of the most influential fish in Chicago sports radio history. I want at least one bone.

I think this is the right audience to arrange such a thing.

In all honesty, this place is great. I have been laughing all day at the stupidity of it all. I have never made a mult, but I so want to make a PittPike, the thirsty fish.

Isn't it great that the final part of this part of Bernsies career is getting this place rocking again for a little while. His legacy definitely runs deep :)

Yeah, this last week has been some pretty fun stuff. Not for Dan, obviously, but it's had the same energy as when he first became the main character here after North and Leery.

PittPike’s first post, a parody song:

“I want an angler with a slow hand
I want a lure with an easy touch
I want lake where I will spend some time
Not hooked and gutted in a heated rush
I want hook that will snap the line
When it comes to fishing, I want a slow hand”

What imaginary radio have Brick and CH been listening to? Legitimately bummed about the dismissal of one of the most condescending pricks to ever grace the airwaves in Chicago? I guess we can only blame confusion, as obviously he's not been around to TELL you how to feel right now ;)

Even his biggest fans/defenders admit the glaring flaws and negatives, especially the Bernstein of the last 10 years or so, so I can only assume it's some form of BWS taking hold.

Getting emotional about "the way" he went out or the mere fact that he won't be on the air again is as silly, at least to me, as those who did the same back when North rode off into the sunset, middle finger extended. Laughable the pearl clutching back then, very similar now - two egomaniacs unable to keep themselves in check (one surrounding himself with cronies and yes-men and the other insulating himself in a protected online echo chamber, wandering out only to fish...by himself). They both had their time in the sun, and made plenty of hay, but became too consumed with themselves to maintain a healthy balance.

Him actually being off the station only impacts me in that I will no longer have to hear his voice gratuitously pimping out whatever sponsor he agreed to "vouch" for ... much like Larry, I have (for years now) avoided any show with his name in it (so these two being paired up for awhile provided me a chance to dabble in more than just the vanilla-ass morning show). Part of me does hope that somehow he ends up down the dial, just so we can all look back at his anti-ESPN vitriol and shake our heads (much like his recent lickage of the baseball pants-wearing Crane Kenney that he and Terry mercilessly mocked for years).

In any case, memories are short but I'm surprised just how quickly so many are willing to give the guy some grace despite his inability to almost ever do so for others.

Maybe he was one of those white kids who wanted to be black? My son was like that too in his teens and college years. I guess these days you would call it that he identified as being black. And there's nothing wrong with that.

meanwhile Parkins is in a New York City state of mind in Brooklyn, pricing out private schools for his issue and hoping he will run into
Louie CK so he can tell him how Eddie Murphy's early stand up is "problematic"

Id like to have alot of schadenfreude on this news........but seriously....................who has given this Chicago sports Olbermann wanna be a rational thought. for the last 5 years?????

it would be pretty funny if they (670) take on nice guy barstool Eddie or Chief to replace him

audacity stock responded to the firing by holding its .16 cent valuation on the news....

on Feb 2017, audacity stock traded at over 412 dollars a share..........hope you sold those options on the way down there lil Danny

he can get a job working with Andy Shaw or will be the token sports talking head on the Friday Episode summary on Chicago Tonight on 11 until Elon turns out the lights on WTTW

good riddance to bad rubbish.........radio is deader than Dillinger.......guess Danny used that 9th life there Morris the cat

Yes at that time Danny thought he was black and was a big NWA and beastie boys kid. This somehow made him some sort or radical in his mind instead of a Jewish lawyers kid.
