She is in the team photo for worst full-time host in Score history.

Remember when Nardi used to proclaim his admiration for her?

So much for the Nardi era!

Initially, I really thought that she seemed appreciate though to the listeners and thanked them for sticking with the Score, etc.

However, even on that first show as the full-time host, even on that day, she repeated the "i'm not new but people keep congratulating me" line over and over again to the point where I wasn't sure if she was annoyed that people didn't seem to know (or just wanted to congratulate her) who she was or if that was just a tired joke. She must have said that about 15x the first few shows.

I hadn't really thought of her as unlikeable previously, but she seems to have embraced being defensive/upset now in her full-time role. Maybe she thinks that makes her more interesting?

I think she thinks it's a good comic persona, figuring that Bernstein made a good career out of playing irritable and neurotic. However, without some element of being in on the joke herself, it isn't really funny. When you see yourself as constantly fighting to be taken seriously, there's not a lot of room left for self-deprecation.

Would the ALL-TIME version of this list have a Rick Telander at the top?

Perhaps, but she does seem to be genuinely annoyed at men in general and any criticism of her/show. Obviously, on social media, I'm sure there are angry people that are insulting and attack her voice, etc. but she also seems to be bothered by show feedback. Maybe it's some sort of comedy, but it will be tough to top Bernstein's general attitude towards everything.

I see you didn't put Parkins on the list. Nice to see you've wised up a little.

Most unlikeable and unlistenable people of all time score and shows

1. Mike North - Both
2. David Haugh- boooooooring, vanilla is they come
3. Terry Boers - Bernstein could have done solo, with North most overrated
4. Goff and Bernstein - as a show, the worst ever because of Goff

Best of the score
1. B&B in early 2000s because of Dan
2. OB and Doug Postgame - Meatballs yes, but they were great after a loss
3. J-Hood when on Score
4. Danny Parkins - Guy is extremely talented. I don't know if his national show will hold up, but he will be in national media one way or another till retirement. Guy is really good.

Man, you left off a lot of history
Rick Telandar
Jay Mariotti
Larry
Spiegel

I find David Haugh a waste of airtime, but Mullii is more unlikeable.
Goff started out ok, but evolved as highly unlikeable.
Bernstein started unlikeable....became funny...than become even more unlikeable as when he started.

I do not see how anyone can have North as #1 on their list. No doubt at the end of his run he became a problem, but he is probably the most important figure in the history of the station.

He was never the best show on the station and his attempt to be Imus with the morning show was godawful, but even before this death spiral era many others were worse. Goff, Telander, Van Lier, Shaer, Mannelly, Spiegel, Mully, Haugh, Holmes, arguably Murph.

I don't even remember Mariotti ever being on the Score, just on MVP solo leading into them making the mistake of carrying Jim Rome live for awhile. B&B slaughtered both.

Monsters was a great show and many would consider it the best show during those early years. I was always more of a HFC fan, but they really went together. I think there is a good argument to be made that at the very least Monsters was 1b to HFC 1a.

North was a blowhard and he got way off the tracks at the end. But in his hey day he was must listen.

So I do not think he belongs on any unlistenable list unless the only North you knew was the very end.

With all the hatred MANY seem to have for Murph I am surprised he did not make any of these lists.

You can’t have a worst list that doesn’t include the Hamp and Holmes Show.

Leila Rahimi is simply not funny at any level. Her knowledge of sports is at the level of a casual fan who tunes in to Sports Center for five minutes a day.

"Playing irritable and neurotic" ultimately cost Bernstein his job.

Score shows I've enjoyed the most.

Murph - Edgy Cubs talk. Could meltdown at any time.
Mike North - Great interviewer. Pioneer in Chicago sports radio. Didn't pull punches like with Mike McCaskey.
Mac - Always had an attitude that he was being done wrong. Seemed to really hate Hub.
B & B - Hated their guts. But entertaining.
Hub - (6-10, weekends) Bears ass kisser. Would put his foot in his mouth a lot . Good Cubs talk.
Fred - (6- 10) Had disgust for bad Chicago sports scene.
Julie - (6-10, weekends) Wasn't the Twitter woke monster. Muddled through with obvious lack of sports knowledge. Took some good phone calls. Was a likeable clown which is hard to believe.
Les - Trainwreck sports radio. Afraid of his own shadow. Prank texted him so many times he'd fall for it every time.

Today they had on Mark Schlereth (sp?) and he went off and touched every meatball CTE thing. I kept hearing Bernsie screaming Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy!
