Wait a second, I don't get this fucking thing.

1. Dan had no idea what he was going to catch. He just happened to catch a pregnant Northern Pike.

2. Sometimes the hook/lures get lodged deap in their mouth. Pulling it out harms the fish. You cut them up pretty good trying to get it out. Fish might die upon release. I believe Dan released it. Northern Pike's aren't that good to eat. Especially the bigger older ones. If it dies, it dies.

3. The guy harassing's him is an idiot. As it's no big deal, these things happen when you fish.

4. But Dan's reaction to him is disturbing. Wants to fight this fight? Threatening to release his address and phone number? Threatening his kids? For what? Dan has had to brush off more then this in his life on twitter. He's going nuts. This guys criticism of him was wrong. But it's not that big of a deal to go nuts over it like Bernstein did. Wow.

What the fuck did Bernstein think would happen to this guy if he released his address and phone number? All he said was he thought Bernstein killed a pregnant fish. What, this guy's employer gonna fire him over saying that? People gonna storm his house and kill him over this? That what you think, Dan? What does Bernstein think is gonna happen to his kids by reveling them? Bernstein fans gonna kill the kids over this? Christ.

Jeez. He is nuts. Must have been drunk too like you guys suggested. Which means 3 glasses of wine for Bernstein.

He got defensive because he knows he killed the fish. A pregnant pike that he certainly fought for a while with blood coming from the gills so he could take his glory pic would likely not recover.

I cannot say it any better than Beardown did. I am an unapologetic Dan fan but he went off the deep end here. I hope if punishment is coming its just a suspension, not just because I enjoy Dan's work but Marshall and Leila mid days?
