Here's the Tuesday Game Plan with the guys:

*2:30P: Live Coverage-Bears' Press Conference w/HC Lovie Smith & GM Phil Emery-Bourbonnais
*3:30P: "The Second Half"
*5P: The SCORE/Comcast SportsNet/Tribune Bears' Writer Matt Bowen-Bears' Training Camp Preview

"Scoreboard Updates": Connor McKnight

Just like last night, Laurence Holmes has "Xfinity Feedback Zone Live" at 6P. He builds another bridge to Twins/White Sox starting @ 6:35P with Chris Rongey's "Horseshoe Casino/White Sox Radio Network Pregame" from U.S. Cellular Field. First pitch @ 7:10P, with "SCORE Overnight" (EP Version) hosted by Les Grobstein & Adam Harris after Ranger's "Xfinity Postgame" until 5A Wednesday. Yeah, Grobber's doing the heavy lifting after the Sox yet again.

By the way, a heads up from SHARK..."B & B" are scheduled to start later than usual due to Twins/White Sox afternoon baseball. Mac & Spiegs will also be nipped. NO TRANSITION TOMORROW!

Thanks for the mid-course correction, SHARK.

So is this a strike against show threads in general? Or just "SHARK" show threads?
In general. I was against them in the beginning. Ask Peeps and Boyd, theyll tell ya....

Peeps?

But anyways, what the hell else would a radio section on the forum be for? What Dan had for lunch? Various threads about things being said by our Radio Hero's? If that's the case, why not just have a show thread? Just what are you getting at here? Are you on drugs?

Oh, and here we go. With PSU Talk we are off and running!

A show thread doesnt require a preview of the show.

A simple: "Discuss"
or "Insert something said on the show" works for me.

I dont need a generic preview of which Score reporters will be checking in and what lame ass segments theyll be doing

Just my preference.

So you would prefer 20 different disjointed threads, duplicate threads and such? The board would be in total chaos. Mass hysteria.

Why would a "7/24 - B&B: Discuss it here" not work? Is it just your hatred of SHARK and your wish to see him strung up and eaten that drives your thoughts on this?

What??

Thats exactly what I suggested

Shark reports are good especially when the boys are going to be preempted by baseball. I like to be kept abreast of such things.

Oh, sorry. I thought you meant "Discuss" as in several different threads that discuss all the topics during the show instead of one singular thought repository.

my mistake!

That will be the case tomorrow as well as next Wednesday when the White Sox & Twins get going at Noon in Minneapolis. You know what that means on the nighttime SCORE with Laurence, don't you? Come 9P, the bit that was inspired by the Twins...

HATER WEDNESDAY!

SHARK is an essential part of your daily nutrition. Now we don't like eating prunes, lean meats, or green leafy vegetables, but they are necessary for a healthy body. Enjoy your SHARK. It's good for you.

What I didn't like about the daily show threads was that there would be 25 comments hours before the show started.

But I'm used to them now, and it doesn't bother me at all, anymore.

A college football "expert" just came on and said that the bowl ban doesn't matter because they'll schedule Hawaii or South Florida at the end of the year? Is this "expert" aware that Penn State only has 1 open spot available in the next 4 years for scheduling?

I doubt they end up scheduling Hawaii either as not only does going to Hawaii to play suck, but it would look really, really bad.

So, you're going to work in a British haberdasher into your tales of young romance?

Couldn't the Bears have gotten somebody that wasn't a vocal-twin of Jerry Angelo?

Will do.

Is Lovie so exciting that I need a Sleep Aid, though? Whatever, I'm always up for self-medication.

Right now, GM Phil Emery's still talking. I stand corrected. He does sound like ex-GM, the Eugene Levy-looking Jerry Angelo.
