Matt Suhey was one of my all-time favorites. I wonder what he's up to now. Dude could run, catch, block. Could have been a pretty good all around RB IMO. Shame guys like that have no place in the league today.

I agree, great player. The guy he replaced was pretty good, too. I was a big Roland Harper guy. I thought he was a pretty good runner.

My recollection of Harbaugh- right or wrong- was that he was a talented guy who could pass well enough and was very athletic, but he would often tuck the ball and run prematurely. He wouldn't stay in the pocket long enough. I could be remembering wrong or just thinking of a particular series of plays in one or two games though.

Mc Mahon and Tomczak used to give it back to Ditka. I remember Harbaugh as a guy who would just take it.

Tomczak needed to go to a psychiatrist to deal with Ditka.

I recall liking Harbaugh, but only because I had hoped he would become Steve Young.
I think Orton is ranked way too low on that list. Griese is 8. Orton and Miller are about even in my book. Rex might be better than Harbaugh.

He'd put them at 1 and 2...

Well,I just went by memory. When Miller was on the field,I felt pretty confident he was going to make something happen. He had some really good games. Orton was more of a dink & dunk guy, game manager type though I thought he was supposed to have a strong arm coming out of college.

Orton does have a strong arm, problem is accuracy downfield, just not there.

All I remember of Harbaugh was being tough as nails but not much else (And of course, the Ditka tirade on him against the Vikings). Rex should be higher than Harbaugh.

He was a trader in the Meal pit up until a few years back

Harbaugh tried really hard. He was a middle of the road QB that had one magical playoff run where he almost "willed" his team to the Super Bowl.

Mike North sometime in the mid 90's claimed Harbaugh was better than Troy Aikman. No....he wasnt.

The same guy that said Jim Brown wasn't even in the conversation about the greatest running back? How could he be wrong?

Jim Harbaugh was Tim Tebow without the revival side show.

Not the most talented guy, but an extremely hard worker and a great leader.

This is a good topic. Where does Harbaugh rate between McMahon & Cutler among Bear QB's in that time period? I'll give you my top 9:
9. Steve Walsh
8. Kyle Orton
7. Mike Tomzak
6. Brian Griese
5. Shane Matthews
4. Jim Miller
3. Rex Grossman
2. Jim Harbaugh
1. Erik Kramer
