I wouldn't consider 5'8" short for a woman.

I'm skeptical of the truth of this whole story.

Not many people, let alone women, were Shaer listeners.

I thought his wife was from NJ or Maryland and they met through some kind of family arrangement or J date.

I remember Dan telling the story on the air...actually seemed like he was bragging about it. He was VERY specific...BLONDE...JEWISH...ENGLISH MAJOR. Listener contacted him...said this may be crazy but there is this girl I work with that would fits all those criteria. She claims she never listened to the show.

And that's how little Danny fell in love and most likely the first time he kissed a girl...
