It would be ironic if he had to have a press conference and every journalist asked the perfect follow-up questions.

Murph and North should be writing up (or dicatating) long takes on this as well.

Matt: This person is not very good at her job.

Dan: I don't care about her work product because she got TITTIES!

Matt: I've probably focused on how she's not good at her job too much to really notice. Which is too bad for me cause I agree she's hot.

Dan: That's a deep thought bro!

Dan: Titties!!!!

Matt: Well, what I'm saying is ...

Dan: TITTIES!!!!!????

Matt: Yeah, OK titties, you got it.

I've always felt that anyone who criticizes Bernstein for being a "jerk" simply didn't comprehend that their own thoughts were most likely stupid, and most people aren't used to facing that reality. When it comes to sports thoughts, most thoughts / takes are stupid in general, so for someone to come to the public stage with the gall to call out the BS and beg for common sense and intelligence was always refreshing to me. The Boers and Bernstein show has been a part of my life since I was 16, and in many ways it helped me to develop the way I form critical thought and see the world in general. [!] B&B have been some of the loudest, most ardent voices for the rights of women and children in the realm of abuse and/or mistreatment. With all that said, it saddens me to see this exchange (these guys always sort of straddle the line between inappropriate and playful humor, but rarely if ever cross over into the creepy no-mans land that is drunk twitter). This could be the undoing of Bernstein in this city, and despite the thin-skinned who think this is a good thing, trust that it is not.

He will Teflon around the subject ... albeit not terribly well ... but he will.

The only things different about today will be a more structured show, fewer callers, and a heavily-policed WYC at 5:03pm.

After that it's Friday, then everyone goes home for the weekend and NCAA Basketball.

Come Monday, It'll Be Alright .... just a little pile of smoldering ashes nobody of any actual consequence* ever really pays attention to.

So, sorry to the small subset of the usual gang of idiots ... nothing is going to change. Do, however, continue your Quixotic crusade ... the usual flailing and fits can occasionally be entertaining.

The rest of you, particularly the RPB pic, that's just a pure delight.

* (Deadspin, nor anyone on this board, is of any actual consequence ... Feder barely qualifies but he's a half-cuckold and about a step or so above Michael Sneed at this point in his life)

Feder and Deadspin matter, Don.

Both have power in the media game.

He wont get fired but I think there will be some changes going forward

On-air apology and suspending his Twitter account. When you have many women in the sports reporting world, whether they are considered credible by some or not, criticizing Dan, it does matter. The Tribune, Sun Times, Deadspin, and an accredited male journalist like Marc J. Spears running this story is a big deal.

It wasn't me, but I learned to think more critically about sports from Boers & Bernstein. Then I started getting too caught up in meaningless Hawks games and Spanky had to yell at me.

You know, he almost shouldn't have to be. If you read the exchange out loud, it would just sound like the disposable guy-talk bullshit that fills sports radio. But reading it on screen does give it a certain gravity that it wouldn't have had on the air.

Of course not. It is highly inappropriate and degrading.

This has always been the B and B fallacy.

I've written this before: the most educated (for whatever that's worth) and accomplished people on this board are the people who have disliked him the longest and loudest

What you get is people who praise him in some hope that they will be considered intelligent by association
