There certainly were valid and reasonable points regarding political speech and political violence that Trump was trying to make. The problem is that those points are better made at a different time than immediately following a woman being run over by a car driven by a neo-Nazi wannabe. Also, there's something about Trump's manner that suggests he is searching the depths of his brain in order to find a way to defend the Nazis.
