Parkins' Tweet kind of represents the other drones who are all on that station now. I realize Parkins' isn't there anymore, but he was recently.

Was Bernstein good at his best? Yes.

The undisputed best in Chicago history? I don't think so. He might be in the conversation for top 5.

As far as notoriety, there were others who were bigger.

The guys saying he was the GOAT probably don't even know some of the big names in Chicago radio back when radio was a big deal.

And Bernstein was niche. He was a contrarian, which he did very well. But the Chicago GOAT can't be a niche guy who is partly a character. I just don't see it.

Dan was my favorite radio host from 99 or so till 2008/09.......To this day, anyone could have been Boers, most overrated, unfunny guy, Bernstein carried the show.

I thought it was a bit, ironically dan was Trump before Trump calling basically every caller a loser, etc.

But he was quick witted, had incredible bits, etc......then PSU just destroyed him.

I would say he had a good 10 year run at the tops of local sports radio.

I never listened to him this year or really last year, but not just him, no one. Chi radio is bad, but is there any city that has good sports radio? Maybe...

Oh well, he had a very good 10 year run.
