When they contacted him for a comment did he feel stuck between wanting to defend the guy who helped him coast for years (and get paid well to do so) and not wanting to come across as critical of Mitch (the guy who literally let him phone it in for years), despite Mitch probably having very little-->no say in the move?

For Goff to say “nobody died” in reference to Bernstein’s Blunder is just rich, even though it’s mostly the proper perspective.

Boy oh boy, they are so quick to minimize the incident and characterize it as just a bad moment and that the moment doesn’t mean someone is a “ bad guy” when it’s one of their own but they were unwilling ( Especially Bernstein and Goff ) to , and give others the full fire and brimstone treatment when they just had “ one bad moment”.
