I'm not trying to be an ass but what exactly are you saying BernSTINE engaged in to give himself a guilty conscience?

Well, I was asking Shark to speculate just to get him riled up. But it does make you wonder when someone is really obsessed with something, what is the motivation? That's all I am saying.

On a side note....

Does anyone else here think it was a bad business move for Farm And Fleet to hire the Kars For Kids kid to "sing" on their commercial? I just always figured Kars For Kids was a consensus PTFB commercial.

Can't get that jingle out of my head. That reminds me...Didn't "Mr. Multimedia" once do a "Subliminal Song of the Night" on the nighttime show?

How much longer is he under contract for - maybe he's trying to show how well rounded he is, not just a sports guy?

One of those kids definitely says "Farm and Fleets," at the end though, which makes it OK in my book.

BD, I don't know his contract status. Unfortunately, most here think he is the best Chicago has to offer on sports talk radio. That's what is sad. And folks that don't like him, still seem to listen.

That's just an irresponsibly shitty thing to say. You're better than that; c'mon.

Bet he talks about it.

"Mr. Multimedia", could you put down that photo of you & Cheryl Scott and start your nighttime SCORE right now for us?

You don't have to keep calling him this. Makes him sound like a guy who teaches a Flash course at night school.

Sounds like "really important radio" being done by Dan. I'll stick with Sweden and Ukraine.

Well, what else would you call him then? He hates being called Larry, even though that would be his name for short. Besides, he's still on NBC5 in addition to The SCORE...

Have Sandusky's lawyers said whether he'll take the stand during the trial? After that freaky interview he gave right after his arrest, one can only hope his lawyers let him run free and speak his messed up mind.

3:25, almost time for "Annheuser Busch". Roughly halfway through the show, about how much of the show so far has been spent talking about Sandusky?

I wouldn't be shocked if they blew out "The Second Half" and continued to talk about this Penn State story. There are so many layers to this disgusting story involving Jerry Sandusky & the late Joe Paterno.

I stand corrected. They are doing "The Second Half", but these stories have dominated this program. Creepy Jerry Sandusky and Day 1 of his trial, the NBC News' story regarding possible new trouble for ex-Penn State President Graham Spanier & the Cubs' signing of OF Jorge Soler.

By the time, this blatant promotional announcement...Baseball Prospectus' Kevin Goldstein joins Laurence Holmes on the nighttime SCORE tonight.

Stop worrying about the NBA ratings, Dan. People like what they like.

Well, when he sat in for Dan Patrick this morning, guest host Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated mentioned the 2007 NBA Finals' matchup between LeBron's Cavaliers & the Spurs as the lowest rated NBA Finals ever. As far as I know, Miami & Oklahoma City may have stars on their respective teams, but neither city is a big market based on what I read.
