I love the way Zach kicks off a show giving you a list of topics you're NOT supposed to call him up with. That's badass. He's also got Laurence's cadence/diction of "aww shucks" type wonder down pat. If we were cool we'd flood the airwaves with WWE questions.

Oh, also the amattacola rule applies to zz live remotes: if you're not a fan pretend you are one. And don't ask about Percy harvin. You have your marching orders.

Twitter pics with Zach in a RAV4 with a football? Wow this is gonna evoke a reaction like when Taylor Swift met Katy Perry at a grammys after party last night. Did you see the pic?

OOH ZACH DISMISSED THE FIRST CALLER FOR SPEAKING ILL OF THEO. CHUCK GARFIEN, BASEBALL SAGE COMING UP: LAUGH OFF THEO CRITICISM.

Zach keeps it professional.

Wow Zach is horrible tonight. He sounds like he's got a few in him with his translucent-at-best mockery of callers. After cutting off the first caller and literally going HURR DURR THEO SUCKS and plugging baseball wizard chuck garfien, he turns around and mockingly decrees that Theo obviously got lucky with the red sox and HA HA....

then the next caller is more thought-giving and zach is suddenly flipping sides back and forth, saying there's no guarantee that tearing it all down works and what entertainment was there in a 101 loss season, BUT WHAT HAVE THE TAMPA BAY RAYS WON!?!? then he talks about all of the "shrewd" signings the redsox made, and i can't help but think...

manny ramirez, coming off of a ~.320/45/160 type season in cleveland aged ~26-28 or something, signed for like $200mil in boston. david ortiz wasn't developed in boston. pedro martinez wasn't developed in boston. curt schilling wasn't developed in boston. josh beckett isn't a boston farmhand. i mean seriously, boston might have developed some homegrown guys, but i'll be damned if they didn't go out and spend huge money to acquire top-of-the-game talent to supplant their homegrown guys with.

zach is clearly having a hub complex where he's talking out of both sides of his mouth. i'd do better to remember that there are an infinite number of things i could be doing as opposed to listening to this garbage.

That awkward moment when the Roar of the Day is just Terry whining that we don't appreciate all the sacrifices Uncle Jerry has made for us

Sini, you are a good man and brave.

I'm thinking ZZ is going through a turbulent period at The Score with Lovie leaving and all the ZZ Bears Minute stuff with Mac, he is probably feeling some heat at the station. Maybe he doesn't give a shit anymore, maybe the Bears organization fired him or they are not giving him the cock sucking access anymore.

I dunno, he seems like a man at the end of his rope.

Boers also described Wade as "wiry"? Are you goddamn kidding me? The guy is a powerful 6'4" 220. Bernstein also added that he's seen a natural erosion in his game after the shoulder injury in 2007 so he would have no reason to suspect Wade. This, right after the caller talks about how explosive Wade was in the olympics in 2008. Did Bernstein miss the olympics? Did he not see how awesome Wade was athletically? There was no erosion following the injury. He played hurt during the 08' season and had a somewhat mediocre season for his standards, he then comes back in the olympics looking stronger, faster, more athletic than he ever was. This continued in during the 2009 season. What the hell are these guys watching?

B&B stance on the Olympics has been quite clear.

And thank you for that.

This thread title is reminiscent of the Iran hostage crisis.

FUN day 2? The world can hardly wait.

Jerry Reinsdorf sacrificed to build Comiskey Park oh wait that's right no the state did

But he did sacrifice in order to finally bring a large sporting goods store to the neighborhood oh no wait the state paid for it

and he sacrificed to build a nice restaurant at Comiskey oh wait nope state paid for that too

and the sacrifices he made to give the White Sox a top-flight spring training complex, oh, nope, a suburb in Arizona had to pay for that

oh wait I've got it!

He sacrificed a baseball season!
