I admittedly don't listen to Mac's show all that much, but when I have I haven't gotten the impression that Mac has many thoughts. To the extent that he has any thoughts, they seem to be disguised as general skepticism (e.g. his stance against B&B on the lack of McCaskey involvement) as opposed to well thought-out, detailed points on why he holds the stances he holds. Part of me sees this as an extension of the laziness you've all mentioned here, but another part of me says I don't have enough experience to make that call. Of course, in my view, I don't have the experience because I'm not interested in listening to a guy who doesn't have a thought...
