No. Isn't crackle some sort of aftermath in a frying pan from cooking bacon or other such stuff?

He possesses the know-how in changing out the propane tank in his grill, so I would wager his handiness is limitless.

Didn't Dan pretend not to know who Bill Simmons was?....SO will he STILL pretend since he took such a stand against the "mothership" and the NFL?

I can't help but think Dan is JEALOUS for Simmons comments and what it represents in the entire picture of things. All of his "little Danny" huffing and puffing against the OBVIOUS hasn't amounted to the attention HE thinks he deserves.

Haven't listened in weeks - turned it on today, heard drinky proudly proclaim that he had no idea what Riverview was. No idea. Sounded like he was filling in for Dan, and quickly assumed the role of being an asshat. Sorry, drinky is not 20 years old - he's old enough to have had plenty of older people blather on about Riverview.

What a dbag.

Actually, I think drinky is just dumb.

It's conceivable, if you have no curiousity about the city, to be 40ish and not know what Riverview is/was. Plus I think he's South suburbs or something, right? Not like he's been driving past Riverview Plaza or Riverview this-and-that on Western or Addison half his life.

I think Abbatacola is from Melrose Park or thereabouts (and if he's not, boy, am I going to be embarrassed for the stereotype). At least he'd know Kiddieland. I don't think his curiosity runs too high, though.

every "Chicago" or nostalgia store in this city sells Riverview stuff. It's practically a staple of Ch. 11 pledge drives.

Another reason Abbatacola has never heard of it.

Dan's never heard of a HELOC. He's so unfamiliar, that he calls it a Hell Lock, not a HE-LOCK during a live read for the snake oil salesman Hockberg.

Also, this self-glossed smart. radio. guy. says "puh-tay-tahs" instead of a poe-tay-toes.

Ass!

Someone should ask him to list every wrestler he's ever heard of

Apparently the list would be Hulk Hogan and the Iron Sheik

He also had never heard of Ray Williams, a guy who averaged 20 a game a few seasons for the Knicks. Big NBA guy.

You are kidding me. He is a little older than me but the "Vacation" movies had to be 3-4 of the top money making movies of our youth. At the very least everyone our age saw Vacation and there is no forgetting Cousin Eddie

Dan either hires someone to digitally adjust the temperature of his home or just doesn't believe in running the heat.

They're in such a hurry to call everyone an idiot that they step it in sometimes.

He probably pays a company to change his furnace filters.

Probably the same guy who changes the propane tank in Leary's grill.

If you don't know how to change out a propane tank, or set a thermostat, you should probably just kill yourself.
