Dan....no fan or listener gives a shit if Bears brass is happy with the hirings. And no it is not a "leap of faith" to fire a coach and GM that no other organization would have hired. It's called correcting your mistakes. It's what teams with half a football brain do.

They were happy when they hired Emery. Why? Because they hired him. If you're not happy about hiring somebody, you don't hire them. That make sense, Danny boy. It's actually called "common sense".

Dan: Well...uhhh...yeah. I'll hang up now.

Yeah, but you don't have to pay him in year 3(of his contract) if he is gone next year, and Cutler is good enough to take you out of the top 5 picks next year too.

There is no benefit to having an older, highly paid, top 16 quarterback. It is only bad for your team.

I would actually think that you would think that Cutler gives the Bears the best chance to lose more games.

Bottom line: Before last year, Cutler had a winning record as Bears QB. I think he was like 50 -35. Something like that.

15 out of 32 teams were under .500 - including the entirety of the NFC South - so, apparently, it's not exactly easy.

Much like Lovie, it was bumslayer paradise. His record against teams above .500 ( you know, good teams) is abysmal

I want the Bears to draft Jameis "OFF. MY. BOARD" Winston so Dan has to do a 180 on him overnight. Suddenly he'll be a Real Quarterback with a Real Coach.
