My eyes still work but it's my 4 hour erection that raises concern.

Then stop taking it an hour before communion.

Same here. 20/20, and I can read things at a distance that most people cant, but for reading I need the 1.75's. I have a pair in every room in the house.

I know. It only gets worse. My 12 yr old daughter thinks I look cool in the glasses. I'm not quit sure what to think about that.

One of the guys on my bowling team recently had that done, and he still needs readers.

I considered having this procedure, but if I still need glasses, then what's the point?

For me I have had the past 9 years of no glasses, contact and all that crap so worth it to me. I only use the readers a couple times a day.

There is a modern strain of "feminism" which can't seem to decide if women are capable and strong or damsels in distress. npr this morning detailed two feminist women who only believed a guy should pay for a date if the girl was interested in him

I don't see that on the Morning Edition page, but I believe it. This is why my favorite feminists are lesbians. They may be angry, but they're coming from a righteous place.

Is it really that difficult for younger men and women to communicate? There seems to be this new brand of "feminism" that embraces victimhood. That certainly isn't strong and capable.

I am willing to agree that a man’s actions in certain situations may well be characterized as “ungentlemanly”. However, the very concept of “gentlemanliness” itself seems to be a patriarchal construct.

The evolution of rape seems to have gone from “no means no” to only explicit consent mean yes, i.e. “yes means yes”, to the current standard that even yes often does not mean yes and it is up to a man to determine a consenting woman’s state of mind. That seems to me to be quite the opposite of feminism and indeed the very definition of patriarchal.

Adults have sex. Sometimes they get loaded and have sex. That doesn't relieve them of responsibility for their actions. If I had a son going off to college my advice to him would be that if he ever woke up next to a woman who asked, "Did we have sex?" to answer, "I don't remember either."
